Dear Associates and friends of IICA,
Together with the world community, all of us are facing the most challenging situation of our lives.
Coronavirus initiated Lockdown has been further extended beyond 20 th April and only time shall tell us for “how Long”.
During these testing times, our primary duty is to adhere to all Central and state governments directives and ensure the safety and well being of those who come in contact with us and the community in general.
As a law abiding Institute, we had closed our Campus in Delhi & Gurugram , wef 23rd March 2020.
However, acknowledging the fact that we are under Lockdown; we want to assure you that at IICA, we are not under KNOCKDOWN.
It is my pleasure to advise you that immediately after the announcement of lockdown, the management and faculty took the initiative and launched IICA Education ONLINE
We commenced the delivery of Theory classes, as per the prescribed syllabus. These online classes have been a great success, drawing incredibly good responses from our students. We have also introduced a STUDENT FEEDBACK system to evaluate the effectiveness of these online classes.
ONLINE COOKERY CLASSES: Once the lockdown was extended beyond20th.April, team IICA converted their home kitchens to Kitchen labs andstarted online cookery classes for all our Patisserie and Culinary Arts students.
I must admit, it is not easy to run a Demo Kitchen, from a domestic kitchen, special under these complete lockdown situations. I convey my gratitude and sincere appreciation to the faculty and their families for their commitment to our student’s learning needs under these testing and challenging situations.
With our firm belief in “every crisis has a silver lining” we introduced MASTER CHEF CLASSES by inviting Celebrated Master chefs from across the globe to take “online Master Chef classes FOR OUR STUDENTS. These initiatives have added a new dimension to online learning.
Once we are through with this crisis, the professional world is going to need all professional help and shall find our IICA STUDENTS job ready to meet the industry demands.
