The ProChef Certification Level 1  is an online program designed and delivered by the Culinary Institute of America. 

Prochef certification program is a multifaceted approach to culinary, baking and pastry arts training combining fundamental skill building in an engaging and practical format. 

This program is ideal for industry newcomers and also for experienced professionals, as this program is designed to help you upgrade and refine your skills.

The programs offers competency and knowledge-based learnings as well as leadership and management training to help you continue to grow and advance in your career. 

International Institute of Culinary Arts in New Delhi is the first and only culinary institute in India to introduce the CIA ProChef Level 1 program and today the institute offers its program content to all its students, alumni and working professionals from across the country. 

Earning a ProChef certification, like the ProChef Bakery Level 1 from CIA, can significantly boost your credentials. This certification provides a rigorous curriculum that focuses on both foundational and advanced techniques, preparing you for success in the bakery field.

The Baking and Pastry 1 program includes all the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for a novice working in a 5 Star Hotel or a seasoned chef/cook looking to expand their knowledge in the bakery & pastry field.

The new Baking and Pastry program will be based on the Baking and Pastry Techniques course which is covered in the Baking and Pastry Arts program offered by the Culinary Institute of America.

ProChef Program Structure

The program consists of 17 courses curated into 4 learning paths. It Starts with the basics of learning about ingredients, tools, and fundamental baking techniques before moving on to the traditional mixing techniques used in bakeshops, the unique products, and finishing procedures to create delectable Bakeshop items.

Each course includes a theory assessment, and/or an applicable practical assessment that the learner must pass in order to receive the appropriate badge for the course. As with the two other programs in the ProChef Culinary portfolio, a certificate issued by CIA will be earned on the successful completion of a learning path within the program.
