The annual 19th Culinary Art Competition was organized by Indian
Culinary Forum (ICF) at the Indian Hospitality Expo 2019 at Pragati Maidan on
9th August.
It is one of the most-watched culinary competitions in the
Northern region. Culinary Art India is known for its thrilling competitions
among the chefs in different categories like Plated Appetizers, Contemporary
Sushi Platter, Plated Desserts, Authentic Indian Regional Cuisine and more.
This year the organisers decided to include ‘live cooking’
category. More than 70 Hotel Management institutes competed in this contest
from across the country and are gearing up to compete on an
internationally-modeled platform at this mega food carnival.
In this Culinary Art India 2019 challenge students of
International Institute of Culinary Art (IICA) medals and made us all proud.

vegetables and cranberry glaze)
Bronze - Stanley Chaoray (Braised
chicken with couscous pilaf)

This event has evolved from a competition venue to an educational platform for chefs to learn, exchange and showcase their culinary skills. The budding chefs, who are the future of the industry, will now get more opportunities to compete and win. To encourage our talented students we will continue to participate in more challenges and competitions. We will identify more stars and future chefs. Congratulations to all winners!
